EP24: Shayne Traviss: Living A Vivid Life Despite All Odds

I’m very happy to introduce you to today’s guest is the wonderful Shayne Traviss. I was first drawn to Shayne because I could tell that he lived life differently than the average person. I’m not the only one drawn to him for this reason, Oprah follows him on Twitter! He lives it on purpose and as he describes it, vividly and authentically. We talk a lot about the idea of courage and working with your fear and living your life anyway, in order to get to the beautiful opportunities and life that is waiting for you on the other side of fear.

During our conversation, he shares with me some of the many losses and tragic events that have occurred in his life and while he wouldn’t wish them on anyone else, he also wouldn’t change them as they have made him the person he is today. We talked about the recent loss of his brother and all that we can continue to learn from the loved ones we have lost. He also tells me about a very traumatic experience he had when he was a teenager that ultimately set him on his path of living a radically authentic life.

“Every experience has walked me home to who I am today.” (Click to tweet!)

~ Shayne Traviss

Shayne is a beautiful example of living your life on your own terms and being radically authentic and open to what life brings you, even in the darkest and hardest moments.
