EP82: Dr. Jade Teta: Part 2 - The Ease and Simplicity of a Healthy Life
In today’s episode, I’m welcoming Dr. Jade Teta back for another interview. In our first conversation, Jade and I discussed his personal transformation and how he rewrote the story of his life by unhooking from old patterns, habits, and beliefs. This time, I asked him to come back to share his vast knowledge of health and wellness. Jade is an integrative physician, author, and expert in the realm of natural health, fitness, metabolism, and self-development. He has spent the last 25 years immersed in the study of strength and conditioning, hormonal metabolism, and the psychology of change and success.
I’m often blown away by how many people can be extraordinary in the world and achieve so many accolades and successes, but when it comes to food it can feel so out of control. I hear so often from people in my community that their health is not where they would like it to be, even if they feel like they are doing all of the “right” things. Particularly those of us with significant grief, loss, and trauma in our lives, as Jade explains this can greatly impact our metabolism and the health of our physical body.
Jade is a wonderful teacher and this episode is packed with actionable suggestions and advice to create a flexible metabolism and the health and life that you have been craving. Be sure you have a pen and paper handy when you press play, you’re going to want to take notes!
His advice and approach makes me want to cry with joy, because his goal is to make your life easier not harder! The advice that Jade gives is so practical, most anyone can do it. He walks us through the 4 key components of building a healthy metabolism that supports the vibrant life you deserve, and explains why exercise is not nearly as important as you may think (I know I was surprised to hear that!)
