Life altering conversations with people who have impacted the world against all odds.
The Dear Life Podcast was created out of that same intention, to remove traditional settings from loss and bring forth conversations that provide the current place of resilience, reentry and triumph. Enjoy the conversation. I hope it changes the way you view your own rock bottom moments.
About Christina Rasmussen
In 2006, my 35 year old husband of 8 years passed away. We were raising two young daughters together in the Boston area. His loss catapulted me into what I have now coined the Waiting Room. The place we go to for ‘time to heal.’ It took me years to figure out that I was not in my second chapter but in a place in between. Alongside millions of others.
With this, I introduced a new model of grief (Life Reentry) based on the science of neuroplasticity. I believe grief is a catalyst for redefining identity. I wrote a whole book about this, called Second Firsts.
My mission is to change the way we grieve, the way we live, and how we define our potential in this life, and the hereafter. I wrote another book about the hereafter and how death is not real. The book is called Where Did You Go? I have consulted on the 2019 movie short Dreamwisher and currently working on my very first work of fiction as I believe that big change requires not only education and training through traditional settings but also media, movies and entertainment.
